Este es el primer a?o que se ofrece Espa?ol como un cursoextra para enriquecer el currículo de la institución. Lo cual hace del mismo una Aventura que brindaa los estudiantes la oportunidad de aprender una nueva lengua y conocer unacultura diferente; así mismo explorar como los hispanos viven su herencia ypatrimonio cultural. Por ello la música el arte el baile y sucesos socialesson aspectos fundamentales en la clase. De igual modo se refuerza el lenguagey la cultura que sirven de puente para comparar ambas culturas la Hispana y laChina.
About Spanish Language and Culture One could think of this course as an adventure which tries to give our students the opportunity to experience not only asecond language but a whole new culture. Since this is the first year Spanishis being taught at our school the course is an introduction to the language.The classes are a combination of grammar and cultural elements. The latter enrichesthe language and exposes the students to a variety of activities celebrations and traditions. The cultural portion of the lesson highlights the essence of the Hispanic world and the way its people live up to their heritage which is filled with history. Music art dance and current events are fundamentalaspects studied and seen in class. By including these elements we ensure abetter understanding of the culture and the language. In addition the students have achance to compare Chinese and Spanish culture and to establish some similarities and differences between them.

They gradually lose their fear of speaking in the target language. The more practice they have the better they get at it so they canstart integrating the various parts of speech in a more natural way. This will ensure a better grasp of the language in daily scenarios.
