上海民办铭远双语高级中学是上海市奉贤区首批国际课程试点学校，铭远学校能积极地引进国际课程，与具有25 年IBDP 课程办学历史的澳大利亚楷模国际中学合作开设IBDP 全文凭课程，于此同时经中国教育部批准引进的加拿大安大略省课程合作开设该省高中文凭课程。实行自主招生，是面向全国招收初中刚毕业的学生。学校目标则是办成一所高标准的起点、个性化服务、精细化管理、国际化理念的双语高中阶段而言。
