2015年9月16日下午来自伊顿公学的数码教育主任James Stanforth在大剧院为我校中学部G9，G10，G11的学生做了一场精彩的演讲。他所介绍的是伊顿现代领导力才能课程。
On 16 September James Stanforth the Head of Digital Education at Eton College did an impressive presentation at WUIS grand theatre. He was introducing The Eton Modern Leadership programme to WUIS G9 G10 and G11 students.
亨利六世于一四四零年创立了伊顿公学，伊顿公学培养的世界名人是不胜枚举，英国有19位首相都毕业于此。学校只招收13-18岁的男性学生。目前在校生已经超过1300名。
Eton College was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI. Many well-known and influential men attended Eton including nineteen who went on to be British Prime Ministers. Today the school is home to over 1300 boys aged between 13-18 years old.
伊顿拥有长达几个世纪的领导培养经验并将此建立了领导力课程，旨在为学生申请顶尖大学和面对其他机会时提高竞争力。通过结合课堂教学、网络教学平台以及一对一在线教导，学生将获得充分的机会去探索学习领导才能的相关理论，并在日常生活中加以实践。就在今年伊顿依靠科技及通信发展的进步，将其引以为荣的领导才能课程带入无锡协和。
Eton College has distilled centuries of experience in developing leaders to create the Eton Modern Leadership Programme designed to provide students the skills and confidence to stand head and shoulders above the competition when applying to top universities and beyond. The course takes a unique pedagogical approach combining classroom-d training with personalized tutorials simulating students.
This year new advances in technology and communications have enabled Eton to begin sharing its unique skills in leadership development with WUIS.
课程学习结束后，学生将信心倍增，怀揣丰富的技能，以更好地应对未来的挑战。
By the end of the semester they will have greater confidence and a toolkit of leadership approaches to help them thrive in new and challenging situations.
