3月5日下午，我校男女篮来到位于金山区的国际兄弟学校参加篮球比赛。最后，经过一个小时的角逐，我校男篮以39-17战胜对手，而女篮同样以24-2大比分击败枫叶，在元宵佳节为观众献上了一场精彩的比赛。
In the afternoon on March 5th basketball team from our school went to participate in a competition in Jinshan district. After an hour’s heated competition our boys’ team beat the team of the opponent by 39 to 17 and our girls’ team won by 24 to 2. The wonderful performance of boys and girls was really appreciated on the Lantern Festival.
比赛于4:30准时开始。2:30分，男女篮共25名学生冒着小雨，在4名外教的带领下乘坐校车从学校出发，经过一个多小时的奔波，赶到位于金山区的国际兄弟学校。女篮比赛率先进行，双方女生争夺激烈，但由于刚开场过于紧张，双方命中率都不高，教科实验中学国际部率先得分打破僵局，随后将比分逐渐扩大，最终锁定胜局。男篮的比赛更为精彩，双方的三分球更为精准，对抗也更加激烈，全队14人全部得到上场时间，并对球队有所贡献，最终，以22分的分差结束比赛，取得胜利。
25 students led by four BC teachers set out at 2:30 in the light rain to attend the 4:30 competition. After an hour’s travel the girl’s team was the first to compete. At the beginning of the competition both teams scored few as a consequence of tension. Later the girl’s team from Jiaoke Campus broke the ice extended the score line and finally won the competition. The boy’s match was more exciting with more 3-point shots and more fierce competition. Each of the 14 boys got the chance to contribute to our team and won the competition by 22 points.
国际高中篮球联赛分为上海市内和市外两个赛区共10个学校进行，我校与其他各校循环比赛，最终排定1-10名，并将于3月18，3与19两天在苏州参加10校联赛，决出最后的冠军。本次联赛也是我们12年级即将毕业的孩子们最后一场比赛，预祝我们的男女篮能再创佳绩，为这些孩子留下一个美好的回忆!
This basketball league match was held among 10 international schools with two divisions: inside Shanghai division and outside Shanghai division. Our team had already won in the round-robin group and we were prepared to play in a two-day tournament on March 18th and on March 19th to decide the best team in the league to get the trophy. This competition will be the last match for ps from Grade 12. Hence we hope our team will win the match and leave our ps with a good memory.
